The Floriani Color Keep Topping (54" x 1 yd) is a high-quality embroidery stabilizer designed to enhance stitches on textured or plush fabrics. This topping prevents thread from sinking into materials like fleece, terry cloth, and velvet, ensuring crisp, well-defined embroidery. Available in various colors, it blends seamlessly with different fabrics for professional-quality results. Simply rinse away after stitching for a flawless finish!
Floriani brings you a topping to enhance embroidery when stitching contrasting color situations! Color Keep Topping is ideal when stitching a dark design on light colored fabric or in an opposing situation of stitching a light colored embroidery on dark or busy colored fabrics (as pictured). The colored topping eliminates “show through” of the background fabric through the embroidery and enhances the color of the thread. This new topping also does a superb job on towels and terry cloth in keeping the pile pushed down, even through repeated launderings.
Color Keep Topping gives satin stitched “wrapped” edges the solid finish you desire!
Instructions for Use:
- Match the Color Keep Topping to the primary thread.
- Hoop stabilized fabric and place the embroidery frame on the machine.
- Complete any movement of the hoop by centering the embroidery design.
- Place one generous piece of Color-Keep Topping over the area that will be stitched.
Tip – Secure the corners of the topping with RNK Embroidery Perfection Tape! - Stitch the design.
- Remove the remainder of the Color-Keep Topping by gently tearing it away from the perforated edges.
*If any pieces or remnants do not come away from the embroidery (satin stitch lettering for example), use the tip of our RNK Heat Craft Tool to melt the topping away.
** Note – Multiple colors of Floriani Color-Keep Topping can be used throughout the design. Simply place the topping on the surface of the fabric during each color sequence and completely remove once that color is done stitching.
Use and Care:
Launder items in cool or warm water and low drying temperature. Do not Iron.

Shipping Time
Orders take around 2-5 business days to get processed and cut before shipping. Carrier lead times apply, after they pick up and scan the package. Note that in the days following a promo sale, the lead time to cut an order may become longer. We have two separate warehouses. If you order a mix of items from those warehouses, note that you will receive multiple shipments. Bolts drop ship separately from our suppliers and will arrive separately from the rest of your order as well.
Shipping Information
We ship our packages via various carriers including Fedex, SmartPost, and the United States Postal Service. Shipping method is dependent on the weight and size of the package. All International packages are shipped via USPS.
Our goal is to have merchandise shipped out as soon as possible. All orders are processed on a first come first serve basis.
Shipping time will vary depending on where you live. Our most recent records show that shipping time will normally be 2 to 7 business days to the contiguous US and around 3 to 9 business days to non-contiguous US once the order is shipped from our warehouse. Please make sure to enter your email address so that tracking information will be emailed to you upon shipment of your order.
*appropriate shipping sales tax will be added to all orders shipped within any applicable state
HI, AK, PR, GU, FM, MH, PW, MP, AE, AA, & AP please add an additional $10.50/order which will be invoiced at checkout, then actual shipping charges will be invoiced separately at the time of shipping. Rates are based on weight of the package and the location that it is being shipped to. This cannot be determined until the order is cut and weighed.

Returns & Warranty
All of our fabrics are first quality. It is still possible due to the nature of fabric, that there still may be a flaw. We actively look for any and we do not ship them.
In the instance of one that was missed, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, on any cuts larger than 1/2 yard, just send back the fabric in question, uncut, unwashed, and free of odors, smoke, stains, and pet hair, within 30 days of purchase and we will refund the original payment method used, except on items noted as "No Returns".
All fabrics marked as from our Runway Silk Collection and all by the Bolt items returned are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Shipping is not refunded. Shipping the return back for a refund is at the cost of the customer. If an order is refused, the return postage amount that it costs to do so will be taken from the return amount.
